This will be an excellent opportunity for paddling in the summer, exploring the beautiful South Devon coastline, and developing your sea kayaking skills.
Dates: Outward travel will be on Friday, 4 July followed by two days of paddling on the 5 and 6 July with return travel on Sunday 6 July or Monday 7 July if you wish to stay longer.

Kayaking: We will base the kayaking trips on the weather and tides, but previously we have visited Hope Cove, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Torquay. We’ll have the option to either all do the same trips, or split the group in two and have different micro adventures. Participants must be at least at Explore Award level to participate in this trip.
Accommodation: We will be camping at a simple campsite, so you will need to have a tent and the usual camping equipment plus camping cooking equipment. There is an option to book a cabin (if it is available) if you are not keen on camping.
The group can choose to self-cater or eat out in the evenings. We are likely to eat out at a pub on the Saturday evening.
Costs: We will share the costs of transporting kayaks and kit. Carpooling is encouraged to reduce costs.
