Details of club trips are circulated by email to club members.

Please refer to the Trip and Session Guidelines for further information on how the Club grades its trips and sessions.

* Kayaking in the Arctic.Kayaking in the Arctic.

Kayaking in the Arctic. A talk by Glenn Morris. Glenn has visited the Arctic over 30 times and has travelled many thousands of miles by ski, canoe dogs-sledge and kayak. He has spent long periods living and hunting with the Inuit of Arctic Canada and N.W, Greenland which has given him a deep insight into the problems faced by the people of the north and the threats to their environment. Glenn was the leader of the Arctic Voice Project, an initiative set up to link schools in the Arctic with schools in the UK. which involved a 4,000 mile journey through the Northwest Passage by kayak and dog sledge. Glenn will talk about kayak travel in the Arctic and what is involved in travelling in remote regions drawing on his experiences in Canada and Greenland. When: Wed 8th Jan 2014 ~7.15pm for ~40min talk followed by questions. Venue: Panel room inside Windmill pub, Clapham Common South Side, London.
