Air bags are recommended to fill empty hatches in case of hatch covers coming off. I don't know if the club is considering buying some?

Very good point Richard…I usually carry one with me on trips incase of a lost hatch cover, however I will make sure this is discussed at the next committee meeting.
Will get 2 for the club trip bag in the meantime (providing I can get 3 of the committee to give me the thumbs up).
Plus some string for the hatches so if they do come off we don't lose them…:o)
